This advanced course is limited to 10 participants who have already been trained in clinical RFT or doing experiential therapy (e.g. 6-month online course, 2-day onsite workshop, or equivalent. Contact Matthieu.villatte@gmail.com to check your ability to take this course).
The course will be comprised of 12 2-hour live sessions (one session per month). At the beginning of each session, we will discuss current challenges you experience in your practice. We will then practice skills through 1 or 2 role or real plays (using either a challenging client or a personal experience shared by a participant). Different participants will practice clinical skills and receive feedback from the trainer and the other participants.
The sessions will take place at 9am and 3pm US Pacific Time (two different groups), on the following dates:
January 11, February 15, March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, November 8, December 13.
If less than half of the participants are able to attend a session, efforts will be made to reschedule it. However, if no better date is found for that month, the original date will be maintained.
Each session will be recorded. Real plays will be recorded only with the authorization of the participant. The recording will be accessible immediately after the session (with authorization from the participant in case of real play).
In addition to the live sessions, you will be able to exchange on a private listserve with the group and the trainer all year long. You will receive answers to your questions and comments at least once a week.
